EU White Paper on Transport
With the Transport Policy White Paper, the European Commission is proposing an action plan aimed at bringing about substantial improvements in quality and efficiency of transport in Europe. It is also proposing a strategy designed to gradually break the link between constant transport growth and economic growth in order to reduce the pressure on the environment and prevent congestion while maintaining the EU's economic competitiveness.
